This is a rare opportunity... these tracks, recorded in the late 90's, have never been heard until now. In a search for an unconventional take on some of her favorite jazz standards Carole handed 3 simple piano/vocal tracks to Abraham Laboriel JR, one of the most sought after drummers on the scene today. His production took them about as far away from “standard” as you can get. This experiment showcases the range of Abe’s talents and accentuates the dark, sensual side of Carole’s jazz persona.
